I suspect Grayrigg as there’s an express right behind you.

Just going in the loop now. I hadn’t scrolled down enough to see the Eus-Glas was under a different reporting number.

Should have looped it at Tebay so the 57 can go in maximum attack mode !

In Grayrigg loop. Just a slapdash visit to Carlisle I think!

What do you expect when due to unforseen circumstances you are 40 minutes down , just slog on and hold up other traffic, or make up time with the assistance available to arrive in Carlisle only 27 minutes down?

Boarding at Carlisle now. Whole train turned on the triangle. Understandable given the lack of time available.

Post #49 was specifically responding to post #48. The medical emergency is a separate matter. Why complain about Ralph not expressing concern about the sick person when no-one else on this thread has?

Expected to pass through Oxenholme station, but passenger on the train became unwell and the train called at the station for medical assistance. While the train was waiting the loco received some attention from the fitters, given the steam leak on departure it was not a success.
Fortunately for the passenger who needed medical assistance the ambulance arrive quickly. As I was waiting for the bus back to Kendal the ambulance departed, still showing blue lights so hopefully that's a good sign.

Looked like they were fiddling with the airpump, not sure about any leak wasn't that just the cocks open on the inside cylinder?

One would imagine with an unexpected stop at Oxenholme plus a looping further up they would be pretty pleased they had a diesel in the consist?

I think Shep wasn’t talking about Ralph not mentioning the emergency but Liam’s post not asking about the well-being of said passenger rather than the time made up due to assistance from the 57 well that’s how I read it anyway :)

Considering the noise that Tangmere was making in both excellent clips, she was not just there for show.
