NYMR services are running the next 2 weekends between Whitby and Battersby. A rare opportunity to travel through stunning North Yorkshire countryside behind steam at somewhat higher maximum speeds than on a pure heritage line (speed limit on this section is a maximum of 45mph).

    Details here: http://www.nymr.co.uk/2015/03/esk-valley-running-14-15-21-22-march/

Please note that Saturday services are topped and tailed to enable pathing around the scheduled Northern service, and this coming weekend Saturday services are likely to be operated by two steam locos, planned to be K1 No. 62005 and visiting K4 No. 61994, with one of the two operating Sunday services.

Pullman dining is also available on the 15th - it will run on 22nd also but available seats are sold out.
