If it is a Manor and it is 7812 Erlestoke Manor then we are in for a treat, I rode behind her a few times on Severn Valley and she is an awesome engine. Really would be hard for me to choose between Dominion and the Manor.

Possibly, though there is Foxcote which doesn't seem to have much work at the mo.

Foxcote Manor, even better! Tough choice now - do I ride behind Dominion on the Teaks or Foxcote on the Mark 1's? Should be a great gala now.

Why not come two days and do both!

Yes, confirmed as 7822 Foxcote Manor - many thanks to the owners and Llangollen Railway for making the locomotive available. Hopefully, the visit will be for a similar period to 4492.

Tough choice!?! The Manor wins hands down, the noisiest loco the Moors has ever had? Will it be out all three days?

It'll take some doing to beat the WD 2-10-0s or the Lambtons, but I suspect I'll be there to see it make an effort!

http://www.nymr.co.uk/special-events/diesel-gala/ On the diesel gala page theres a link to buy "loco allocations" info which is what you (and I!) want - presumably something similar for steam gala and bought online in same way as SVR WTT I guess. Looking forward to my first NYMR Gala - now just pray for good weather!

Yes I forgot the Lambtons. I'll be there on there Friday for Foxcote, definitely made the gala more interesting for me. Just make sure it has a nice heavy train!

What times are the first trains off Pickering and Grosmont on Friday?

Loudest I've heard on the Moors to date is 80135 back in the 80s. Driver was giving it full everything and then some more.
4492 on the teaks is a must for me but can only do the Sunday so a nice long round trip from Bedfordshire.

Yep - when loco allocations are completed, a downloadable timetable with allocations should appear on the website.

Does anyone know the situation with 4492? Withdrawn from a railtour on the 24th with technical issues, hopefully it will still be attending the gala.

I am afraid that 4492 won't be making it to the NYMR for the Gala - the problem that lead to the failed FTR last week hasn't been able to be fixed in time for the move north.

As mentioned above, some extra features including demo runs with the recentlyn restored NER Snow Plough at Grosmont, have been added:

The 'technical issues' leading to its withdrawal at the weekend have unfortunately led to its withdrawal from the NYMR gala. 7822 should have arrived at Pickering by now; it was spotted on the A64 about 8.00pm.
76079 looks like being added to the list of operating locos.

:attention:Nevermind!!! Roster the Q6 for the teak set and let the best engine on the line actually get the lime light for a change!!
