Does anyone know if D345 will be leading back to Carnforth from York this afternoon or will it be on the rear ?
It’s surprising how nothing else was affected only this one and I’ve filmed there many times and never picked up anything before.
You can also get it with long lengths of steel when handling it.
40145 at Ais Gill summit yesterday afternoon
ECS move from York to Carnforth, D345 leading 57313 on Giggleswick bank
D345 + 57313 + Northern Belle ECS seen on Giggleswick Bank.
At £750 the most expensive one day tour to date?
If they are "currently awaiting provisional timings", what do you call the quoted timings? Whatever you call them, they are surprising; on the way out, nearly five hours from Newcastle to Edinburgh during which to eat your three-course brunch; just over three hours on the way back for your six-course dinner.
D345 again this weekend, Carnforth - Carlisle - Preston.
D345 at Docker .
D345 at Benson Hall farm , Docker Viaduct, Waitby Common and Kirkby Stephen.
Delay between Hellifield and Horrocksford caused by “cows on line!”
Class 40 D345 seen from Benson Hall Farm, Docker Viaduct, Waitby Common and Kirkby Stephen old Goods Yard.
Kirkby Stephen Station looked deserted
Never saw anyone at the Station Idris which was a surprise as there’s usually someone there.
Nobody at all Idris .
Does any kind person know if it is D345 again this Saturday or steam hauled please?
Not sure from the above
