Apparently the owners last ran it as 45156 11 years ago. Just guessing but maybe the owning group just have the plates and the gala seemed a good time to get them out

BREAKING NEWS - 45379 will now NOT be attending the gala as repairs to the loco will not be completed in time. A replacement is now trying to be found for the gala.

Whilst it's unfortunate these things happen, and it was only confirmed today.

Looking at the web site "Running Page" looks like something green, carn't make out from the photo which way it is facing, looks like a tender with windows at both ends, or is this the standby baring some some last minute luck in finding another loco at this late notice.

If so, I think I know when to take my dinner break.

Good see that there is now a basic timetable up on the website.

Probably invading in vengeance for 5337 showing up at the diesel gala. Looks like they weren't fooled by the yellow magnet and double arrow!

Really enjoyed this gala, weather generally okay, good engines (nice mix) and even the time timetable problems didn't seem to spoil it. Thanks to all concerned.

Attended for 6/7 hours on the saturday, so only managed to sample a small amount of what was on offer, i was surprised at how early it started and how late it ended each day. Nice roster of locos, although 45379 certainly looks different to when i saw it at the CVR in february ;-)

My only gripe really was the event timetable availability, as i showed up at Weybourne several times throughout the day to purchase one and each time they had none in stock. The first time round, they said some had been put on a train, but it had been the through train, so had gone straight to Holt instead! Someone very kindly let me take a picture of his timetable so i could consult it on my phone, which was very handy, so thanks, I didn't catch your name.

Pics and videos on their way
