Any news about whether 76084 will be on the NNR in 2018?

I hope you're not going to change it too much - it's very easy to use which is a big plus in my book.

Hope today's joint M&GN Society/Friends of Black Prince day goes smoothly.

Wish I could be there to see the calvacade of M&GN Society locomotives.

With 6 ex-BR types in operation (I am including the WD) looks like things are very healthy on the steam motive power front for 2018.

With 76084 and the N2 both available for the Cromer services, there must be the possibility of topping and tailing and doing away with the diesel.

Don't get ahead of yourself - the N2 is not mainline registered. It hasn't had any of the electronics put on it yet either.

However, you are right, we have a very healthy fleet at the moment on paper....

I take it there are still long term plans to use the B12 and N2 on the Cromer services?

If it carries on as interesting as that I'll look forward to updates in the same way I do to the Carriage and Wagon Blog

Thanks for the positive response to the Facebook page. A colleague and myself have put it together as a way of getting information out about our little railway by the Sea!

We know people are interested in what we do, and we're keen to show people in the hope they volunteer, visit, join the society - or even learn something!

It’s the locomotive department of the NNR that interests me the most so will look forward to updates.

I’m glad the rarer coaches are safely locked away in the carriage sheds.

Generally speaking yes. Worryingly, the Vintage Set was stabled outdoors when this coach was graffitied! (albeit at a different location)

I take it that graffiti is not that much of a regular occurrence on the NNR though?

Just read on the Gresley Society website that rather than being a three year loan, the move of the N2 to the NNR is permanent.

Correct, we are extremely lucky in that these attacks are infrequent.
