    I agree with much of what has been said. The reason i can't read a lot of HR is the fantasy land that Robin Jones seems to inhabit. The standard artical about a preserved line in HR seems to consist of: first two columns non rail related padding (written by Private Eye's Phil Space no doubt), then a little bit of rather basic history of whatever railway it is, then some cloud cuckoo land daydreaming about reopening miles of closed railway.

    Oh and every issue has lots of stuff about going on holiday to the seaside by train in the 1950s and now it seems that not just the Swanage but every other railway/loco group/carriage restorer is refered to as "the award winning......".
