    Further update

Unfortunately DBS have pulled out of their original agreement to provide a loco for the event. Obviously 60074 is now out of traffic and the other 60s are somewhat stretched to say the least. This is a great disappointment as there are DBS employees involved in the event and of course the Teenage Cancer Trust will not receive a donation.

All the other locos advertised ie GCR Class 27, DRS Class 37 and GBRf Class 66 and home fleet are still expected to be in use.

A few people have asked about D9504 now on site. This unfortunately has a seized power unit so obviously cannot be used.

The loco roster will be posted over the weekend and the NVR website will be updated tomorrow.

    Loco line-up now reads D9516, D9520, GCR 27056, 31271, 37518, DRS 37xxx, 40106, 47270, GBRf 667xx

Has 56128 become 56313 yet and will it be available for viewing in Wansford yard please?
I realise the renumbering is tied in to the loco being restored to full working order, but an official renumbering during a gala weekend would be an attraction for some enthusiasts.

Having been at many NVR diesel galas in the past I can only recommend them to everyone, especially as a demonstration of how to cram the number of train services into the limited pathing. You will get value for money, especially if you manage to get haulage by all those diesels.

Power-unit is going back together at the moment. Be ready for a start up potentially in a few weeks. Still some bodywork to sort and the cabs to refurb.
