I like the idea of having a calender or 12 Nat-Pres winners, gives everyone a chance and a reflection of different styles and subjects.

Can we decide on a closing date for submissions then?

Is there some way of gouping all the entries together in one place (like a photo website) so it makes them easier to view and compare?

My offer in the amateur section. Only an average photo but McCaig's Tower tells you that this is a location that's never seen a K4 ..and may never again.

    Simon,

Are we allowed multiple entries - this could get out of hand very quickly?

Thought I may as well put forward an entry... 5043 Earl of Mount Edgecombe at Treeton on 18-12-2010 with a charter to York. Any comments / constructive criticism gratefully received.

If we're still putting ourselves in categories, I would consider myself an ameteur...but it seems a rather complicated division between categories now so I'll state the facts and I'll happily be shifted between categories if I'm wrong.

    - I have had a couple of shots published before now.
    - I am willing to travel some distance to get a shot.
    - I do not make the greater part of my living from photography.
    - I am currently working with a Canon Eos 550D (but it's not what equiptment you use, it's how you use it!)

And for what its worth if we are allowed to submit more than one image I think it could get hopelessly out of hand (I for one have a few images that I'd submit). It was quite hard whittling my collection down to that one but my best alternative was 60007 at Gamston a few weeks ago and a similar image has already appeared on the front of SR so I thought you'd all be bored of that.

I'd like to replace my original entry with this, if that's ok with everyone? (Original message edited accordingly). 5526 is (just about) seen passing Swithland, 28/12/2010.

... It looks a lot better full size rather than compressed to 800x600, but that's life .

Lovely work guys -I'm beginning to think we could do a whole album, never mind just a calendar ;) As far as calendars go, friends of ours made us one for Xmas using some program on their Apple Mac, good quality and easy to do it seems.

I have a mac, so if you know the name of the program, and it's freeware (or cheap) I can have a go... Don't have access to the necessary printing equipment, but I'm sure I could send files on to someone who does :).

Apple print it from your on-line design I think, then post it out. I'll find out from my Mac-man!
