I will start this thread off with a couple of locos that should return to steam in 2024:

WB 2090/1919 0-4-0ST PIXIE for the Richmond Light Railway
    SAFB 2684/1952 2-8-2 NG134 at the WHR

    What else?

Possibly 'Taliesin' and 'Velinheli' on the F&WHR. 'Hutchinson' on the IOMR and 'Talyllyn' should also be making returns to steam in 2024.

In terms of exits, No. 6 Douglas on the Talyllyn will be bowing out imminently. I think it's had its last public day in steam already though.

I believe Winifred is out of ticket this spring. At Bredgar, Lady Joan and Armistice are out of traffic now - I spent yesterday helping dismantle Armistice's firebox and removing the plugs from both then cleaning them up.

Latest Talyllyn manager video on YouTube states they are about to start dismantling number 6 for assessment.

AIUI assessment will determine what needs to be done but work won't start for a while, otherwise in a decade's time you'll have 1, 2, 4 and 6 all going out within a very short timeframe. That said, with TR75 just a few years away I (and others) hope it will be back for that. These things can always change of course...

Will Gertrude at Leighton Buzzard come back into service this year? Seems to have been there for a while and I'm sure it has steamed but not actually ran a service train?

Stop press! Exciting news: the long-awaited return of the Barclay sisters!

This Sunday, Doll and Gertrude will double-head the 11:40 and 14:00 departures! Gertrude has emerged freshly-polished and newly-certified from her overhaul and, for the first time in several years, you will have the chance to ride behind these two Barclay locomotives which came out of the works together in 1919.

Also, an update for the Mother's Day specials: all Mums will get a free cake when they buy a coffee from the Really Awesome Café!

Baldwin No. 778 will head the 10:30, 12:50 and 15:10 departures.
