    The weather does help. The one thing which surprised me was how busy the coaches were behind Clan Line on the Saturday the whole train was standing room only.

    After rejigging the video several times, I've finally got my footage from the gala online, and what a fantastic gala it was!

    It's probably because you don't get too many chances to travel behind this fine engine these days for less than £350. Admittedly, you do get a rather good meal thrown in!

    Finally got round to uploading my photos from the gala. I've been to several galas but this was one of the best, if not the best, I have been to. Was quite fortunate with the weather too. Getting Clan Line was a real coup and my younger brother was delighted to finally have a ride behind '28. Top work by everyone connected.
