Surprised that there isn't already a thread for this.

The full line up is now confirmed as:
    03197
    08377
    D8001 (20001)
    D8059 (20059)
    D5343 (26043)
    33202 "Dennis G Robinson"
47579 "James Nightall GC" working its first MHR passenger trips
    50027 "Lion"
    1125 (205025) 2H DEMU

Parking at Ropley, Alresford & Alton.

The 20's arrived this week past. 47 579 has been seen under test, so it's just the 26 left to arrive.
Looking forward to this and to saying hello to some familiar faces from behind the RAT bar on Sunday.

Timetable should be out very shortly. Sorry for the "last minute.com".

Service pattern will be trains every 40 mins from each end. First leaves Alton at 1000 and the first from Alresford at 1015. Last single trip leaves Alton at 1720 on Friday and Sunday and 1900 on Saturday. From Alresford the times of the last single trip are 1655 and 1850 respectively.

Locos will change over at Alresford this year rather than Ropley. The "spare" locos will be stabled in the Cattle Dock where they can easily be viewed.

A variety of shuttles will run Alresford to Ropley with the 2H, 03, 20s and 26 all featuring at different times.

When not shuttling to Ropley the 03 will be giving brake van rides around Alresford, and we are hoping to operate driver for a fiver at Alresford on 08 377.

In addition to the round trips made by all the locos....

    Friday will see:
    20s doubleheaded roundtrip
Single 20 roundtrip (should be loud)
    20 + 26 doubleheaded roundtrip
    26 on branchline shuttle
    20 on branchline shuttle
    03 on brake van shuttle
    2H shuttle

    Saturday will see:
    33 + 26 roundtrip
    20s doubleheaded roundtrip
both 20s running rountrips on their own
    03 brake van shuttles
2x20s on matching goods set shuttle (brake van ride available)
    2H shuttle

    Sunday will see:
    20s doubleheaded roundtrip
both 20s running rountrips on their own
    26 on branchline shuttle
    20 on branchline shuttle
    03 on brake van shuttle
    2H shuttle

I've just tried to upload a picture on this thread, but it wont allow me to do it. What with all the other nonsense that's going on with this forum, I can only conclude that this is the worst forum that it has ever been my misfortune to visit. Somebody needs to get a grip.

It might be worth leaving your feedback in maybe New General Chat or messaging a mod.
I doubt it'll be noticed in this thread.

A very late running video from the Saturday of the gala. Thoroughly enjoyable day and well recovered despite the issues with 50027 and D8001, thanks to all involved!

No I do not currently volunteer
My photos from the Saturday have now finally been uploaded to my Flickr page. Just need to get around to sorting them out properly.

It was an excellent day as per usual even when 8001 through its toys out of its pram and sadly Lion expired. The loadings weren't as busy as previous galas and I do hope that the railway made some return on their investment to the event and it will once again be a nailed on annual event.
