Just extrapolating from your comment yesterday Dave;)

Weather forecast seems to be getting worse, at one stage Sunday looked OK but now seems to be a grey day too!! I might just sit on the RAT and have a beer tomorrow!

Will be nice to see 34007 out and about again, even though she'll be only be doing short runs.
Serious question, are the Wagonistas running tours at M4M??

It will be great to see her in action again. Lets hope she behaves and doesn't get a hissy fit on as she is relegated to the Freight again!

In answer to your question, Steve, the answer is yes. ;)

Soooo, on behalf of all in the wagon group, there now follows an unashamed plug............. :)

AS alluded to, we shall be running yard tours at Medstead over all three days, where you can see the progress being made on the BY Van (C), the Cattle Van conversion, along with the semi overhaul of a BR Brake Van, the Atlas Crane wagon, along with some engineers wagons and, oh, a diseasel thingy, a class 27 I believe........

As well as the yard tours we will also have our sales stand on the up platform selling all manner of things railway related, along with the Wagon Group Mugs, and STOP PRESS................

*************************************************NEWLY ARRIVED LIMITED EDITION SCATS VAN*************************************

Yours for only a measly £12, once they're gone, they're gone! Below are a couple of images to tempt you.

If anyone who cant make it & would like one please PM me for details of how to get your hands on one.

Along with the Basingstoke Model Railway bods, some of members will also be manning the Model Railway in the cattle dock at Alresford & hopefully some mugs & wagons will be available to purchase there.

As we know you all like to see the freight train running, without your support a lot of what we achieve would not be possible, so please do come and spend some time & pennies at Medstead to help us continue doing what we do! :)

Speaking of which I forgot to post in this thread

    Good evening

With the Mid Hants gala approaching I thought it would be a perfect chance to do a quick update on CanPac and do a quick plug ;-)

    http://locoyard.com/2015/02/11/simons-journey-into-the-world-of-volunteering-entry-11/

During the gala there will be a CanPac stand in the Ropley education suite if you fancy learning more about our project, fancy finding out joining our wonderful team, help get restoration underway by donating or buying one of our lovely CanPac mugs.

Whats the attendance like today? Saw a few photos and it looks dead compared to the last couple of years.

Tbf it could just look like where photographers try to crop out people

Trains are full, but that's because no one wants to be on the platform.......

Sent via free wifi thanks to the Alresford buffet :)

Track circuit failure at Ropley, so no trains to Alreford at present.

Earlier problems were due to a points failure at Medstead and the track circuit failure at Ropley.

It was back to normal soon after I posted the above, although the weather got worse so I went home. However it has subsequently brighten.
