Sounds good, two questions, do you mean 40% off all accessories or upto 40%? Also can it be stacked with the members discount as if so potentially some bargains to be had?

No I do not currently volunteer
Went to the event today. It was very enjoyable.
The choice of model railways was superb: mostly dioramas or other compact models displaying unusual originality, humour and creativity. Every one was very good so I won't give names. But to give a taste of it there were large scale Ruston Bucyrus excavators shifting sand around quarries, live-steam self-starting Gresleys in 00 with two cylinders (Hornby!), an automatic portable N gauge garden railway in which logs are delivered to a mill from which the train emerges empty, and a rail served disused tunnel cultivating mushrooms...and a secret!
The reason for some facilities at the valley being closed seems to be lack of volunteers, a common post- Covid problem. The cafe at Bewdley and the Erlstoke Manor Fund coach were closed for this reason, and there was other evidence of shortages.
Highley restaurant was occupied by models, but the small basic facility by the entrance was there as was the useful facility near the end of the platform.
But I noticed the goods wagons had been moved to Arley, presumably this was the post Spring Gala trip, and their place at Bewdley occupied by the DMUs. So Arley yard is impressive but the steam age atmosphere of Bewdley has suffered. I don't know the reason for this, does anyone?
