Please, does anybody have a contact for obtaining 6-8 new/refurbished mark 2 BSO large sidelights as our one at the spa valley is resembling a fish bowl more than a railway carriage!! The sliding lights and other small windows are fine it is just the main units, the carriage is due in for remedial work soon and we were thinking of replacing them then. Anyones help would be very much appreciated.

I believe the East Lancs Rly. have several Mk II's so their C&W Dept. might have relevant information.

Also have a look at Peak Rails Carriage Exchange.

I had this contact for PSV glass a while back, I ordered several double glazed units for a Mk2 BSOT which had the same symtoms as you describe. give them a call and tell them the coach and what it is, ie MK2 BSO and number, they seemed quite helpfull and new what I was on about.
    http://www.psvglass.com/

Price was around £80 a unit but that was a couple of years ago.

They also do the MK1 coach glazing units which are in the first class areas.

    Cheers,
    Daniel

Has anyone used PSV recently for Mk2 side windows? Would be interested to hear peoples experiences.
