It is hoped that 7802, 7812 and 7820 will be operation for the SVR's Manor 50th event next month.
No word just yet on a timetable but 4566 is expected to be also in use on the toplights.
    Normal fares apply.

WTT should be finalised & posted on the SVR website this coming week.

A 5 train service is planned using 1450, 4566, 7802/12/20 & there will be both local & through workings.

Churchward toplight coaches will be in use

Usual society stands & a sat evening film show at Kidder railway museum.

Get in a last event before the c season starts!

Just had permission from the boss I may be up for 7820! If all goes to plan 7820 will be my 6th Manor on Gods railway, just need Didcot (7808), DSR (7827) and 7821's owner to pull their respective fingers out! In your own time gents! :)

I hope a coach roster is made available before the event. Assuming here that 7820 will be paired with the Set C. Set M with one of the resident Manors but then what will the third set be? I'm sure Saturday could see another GWR rake out with (formed of the S non dining vehicles and GW2 non Toplights) alongside the that used by 4566?

This event appeals to me more than the ASG to be honest!

The toplights are in service behind 2 Manors & 4566 over the weekend. Sets C, M, N & Auto also in use. Locos are not paired to the same sets throughout.

    Sunday sees a return 10 coach working dep KDR 12.50 & return dep B'north 16.05 - set S strengthened & including 3 dining.

The event features a number of local workings using several of the rostered locos.

Any word on how it's looking for 7802 making it ? when I came last weekend for 60163/46100, I noticed a GWR tender loco hiding in the works with an unpainted smokebox, hard to imagine what else it could be. my last run on Bradley was her penultimate mainline tour with Past Time Rail (remember them ?) from Hereford - Minehead.

7802's tender is already painted lined & varnished with late BR transfers. The loco itself is now in Bridgnorth paint shop for completion this coming week. A few jobs remain but nothing too large. Once painted, completed & coupled to its tender testing will follow in time for Manor 50 which will be the relaunch of the loco for another 10 year period of service.

Thanks for the information. I think I can assume the toplight Manor workings take place on Sunday. I thought set N would be out over L but a shame set GW2+non dining S aren't out Saturday but appreciate that would take a bit of shunting. How many vehicles will be in the toplight set? Locos are fixed to their sets Saturday, there is no possible way of swapping other than the last train to Bridgnorth.

From what I think looking at the timetable there is no set off Bridgnorth other than the toplights Saturday? Unless there is a 7802 non advertised early morning trip.

Toplights are in use both days forming the first KDR dep at 09.00 on sat non stop then being used on local workings. On Sun they are the second dep ex KDR. Set N is off B'north both days.

Locos are not fixed to their sets on either day. The operational WTT including sets & LE moves will appear on SVRlive nearer to the event.

ATM 7812 facing south and I think 7802 is as well, but it could still change.

Currently 7802 & 12 face south. 7820 is intended to be unloaded facing north. Photo shoot requirements are awaited & might change that.

Looks like the makings of an interesting day out. Just a pity it will be getting dark early.

That's one reason why we are starting rather early.

Nice that itis expected that 7820 will face north. Most of the running fleet seems to be facing south so some variety will be good.

The rather nice little brochure for this event is available to download on the SVR website. Go to the home page and click on the event as it scrolls across the top. ( strangely there is no mention of the event in the "Latest News" features on their website).

Dinmore Manor now safely tucked up at Bridgnorth, currently facing north, but look for loco "directions" nearer the event. "Bradley Manor" out on test/running in this coming weekend.

7820 Kicks off events with a non-stop Bridgnorth departure from Kidderminster at 0900, and in support of 7820, 7812 and 7802 locos 4566 and 1450 (Autotrain) are in action.

Has the making of a decent event. Looking foreward to it. Hopefully the Saturday overcrowding chaos of 46100 and 60163 wont happen with this one.

Need now to work out how it fits in with rail travel to Kidder.

I would advise rail travel if possible, the car park at Kiddy has had space taken up by the builders on the neighbouring housing development and whilst some of it has been cleared up, some has yet to be (still time I suppose...).
As it's normal fares, the NR add-on will be valid for those wanting to save a little and aren't members, etc.
