In typical S&C weather, LMS Jubilee Class No. 45562 'Alberta' approaches Aisgill summit with the northbound 'Waverley' with Mick Rawling driving and
Rob Russell on the shovel. No sooner as the last coach disappeared out of frame the heavens opened up.

With a break between showers No. 45562 'Alberta' speeds through Culgaith with the return 'Waverley' rail tour Mick Kelly driving and Clive Gault on the

In some very fortunate but memorable light after some torrential rain 45562 makes a wonderful sight and sound roaring through at Lunds Paddock.

Today was one to go out for whatever the weather did with the combination of a single chimney green Jubilee, matching rake of stock and Waverley headboard. The rain was never far away all day.

Nice stuff guys, particularly like the Culgaith fot and Simon's capture at Lunds, great video too as ever Stephen! Can't believe the conditions at Birkett,Ian,it deteriorated a lot in the last 30 minutes, was pretty bright when I drove past :(

Never thought I'd ever get the opportunity to see "45562" on the S&C but that's the box ticked today, even if the conditions were pretty foul. My/Becky's video (Church Fenton,Selside,Ais Gill and East Garforth) is below,as is my photo from Selside.

Many thanks Ian for those wonderful comments much appreciated. Just a case of being in the right place at the right time but a minute earlier it looked a lost cause with poor visibility.
