    Something a little different.

    Come and meet the star of the children's classic TV series 'Ivor the Engine' on his first ever visit to the Dee Valley. Ride behind Ivor as he gives brake van rides up and down Llangollen station whilst some of the bigger engines take passengers on a trip to Carrog and back.

    Jones the Steam will be at Llangollen Railway providing hourly shows of life on the M&L RTCL alongside Ivor.

    There is to be brass band performances at both Llangollen and Carrog stations by 'Llangollen Silver Band' (sat) and the 'Brymbo Male Voice Choir' alongside 'Cor Rygbi Gogledd Cymru' (sun).

    At Glyndyfrdwy, Mrs Porty will be holding a village fete in Bluebell's Paddock.

    During the day, look out for Idris the Dragon who has got separated from Ivor and is trying to find his way back.

    5643 and 6430 will be providing service trains during the day.

    Tickets, which include all day travel, are;
    Adults £12
    Seniors £10
    Children £8
    Dogs/Bicycles £1
    Family (2+2) £30

    Then, in the evening there is to be a concert on Llangollen station by 'Llangollen Silver Band' and 'The Llangollen Male Voice Choir'. A Real Ale Bar is to be open for this, with the concert to start at 7.30pm. Tickets are a separate £7 fare.
