Its just a board fitted to the corridor connection of the brake coaches. Has window, with wiper, horn and brake valve. So technically we have 3 (3 boards made, and fitted when required).

Not the best way of operating trains, but at least it gets us to Corwen 2 - 3 years early. I think the lads at Corwen will be doing guided tours of the station site proper, and work carried out to date.

As for locos, i believe they should be facing West as usual. I'll have a look tonight and update accordingly.

A very enjoyable visit today, some excellent weather. The Jinty looked great on the vans, and very good timetable. More pictures and video later...

Really enjoyable gala, the highlight being the superb observation car, enjoying a great view back down the track in a luxurious armchair.

I had a very enjoyable day taking in Oswestry and Llangollen . As a parent it was nice seeing the gala from a child's eyes as we spent the afternoon and evening traveling on the Auto train and Suburbans with a very nice fish and chips sat on Llangollen station on the late afternoon sunshine . Also really good to meet @RA & FC

Gala seemed comfortably busy and we had a fabulous time . Shots reflect being on the Train

Thanks to all the organisers, we spent Saturday on the line. Busy morning at Llangollen station, walking around Glyn for linesides in the afternoon, followed by the auto-train shuttle riding in the evening. Wonderful day, made a nice change to have a branch line day instead of an improbable mix of mega large loco's. Good chat with the Patriot lads, and good cup of tea at Llangollen station, a few extra books!
