    Maybe FGW could keep them for charters as well. I think the day I went to Railfest earlier in the year a FGW HST had hauled a charter up from Devon I think.

    UK steam has 60163 running E+C from London to Didcot and back timorrow. Anyone any idea why?

    Unveiling in blue for the covenators, so they can see it up close and personal - at least they should be able to see her in all her glory in MUCH better light than today! :D

    Report of a train possibly steam hauled with box on the rear heading east through sowerby bridge along the Calder Valley line approx 1:30pm yesterday (24th). Can't find any info on the net. Any ideas?

    Any news of Lizzie this morning? Is she on her way, and is she by herself or accomanied by a diesel? I'm hoping to pop out at lunchtime to see her in the Cherwell valley, among the floods. TIA.

    Thanks chaps. She might recover the delay by cutting down the Leamington and/or Banbury stops, or she might just get later! I'll put on an extra layer of warm clothes and go out at the planned time!
