I've had a call to say that Tangmere and Oliver Cromwell both returned light engine to Southall after their Penzance to Bristol railtour yesterday. Tangmere's next railtour is from London to Kent on the 19th May and so the move is logical. However, Oliver Cromwell's next railtour is from Bristol to Par, also on the 19th, and so I'm curious as to why the loco isn't remaining at Barton Hill for the duration. <BJ>

    Hi all
Seems 46201 is down for circular run round Tyseley on thursday,
does anyone know what this is for? Cant see why any work would have been needed to be done recently.

I think some boiler work may have been done? Does seem an extravagant trip just for a test run.

Given her role in the Jubilee Pagent in a few weeks' time, I suspect TYS want to ensure that everything is back in working order.

Lizzie passing St.Andrews junction towing two 67's 67006 and 67026 looks like a Jubilee or Olympics jobbie on 67026.
