Clun was apparently seen dead at Tyseley which casts doubt on its running for shareholders on Thursday though I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

They may not be lighting up till later today or even tomorrow morning so don't cast your doubts just yet.

Looks like motive power for a trip to the seaside on Thursday, bucket and spade at the ready!

And possibly, with a bit of luck, over the hills with the Waverley.

For those that knew him, a message on Facebook says that the ashes of Dave Rodgers will be conveyed over Ribblehead on the tour of the 8th. The annual reunion to mark the end of BR steam takes place the same day at the Station Inn, Ribblehead so a chance to raise a glass in Dave's memory.

Same here, God willing. Would be equally happy with either, as I've always had a good day out behind 46115, but seeing as 35018 is in the area and Bulleids are my preference.

Tuesday at Giggelswick, 45627 Sierra Leone was opened up as it reached the west end of the station, at which point there are now 60mph signs.
Does anyone know what the speed limit is between Settle jctn and Giggelswick

25 mph through the connections at Settle Jn, 30 through Giggleswick station platforms and 60 either side of the station
