    I can only assume the fault was corrected and she is now fit to run , unless its the 47 and coaches only

    It was a class 47 light engine heading north. Seen at Narroways Jct.

    There was a movement back to Crewe last night http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U55445/2019/07/07/advanced which I assumed to be the stock.
    Was intending to go to Shrewsbury this afternoon anyway - if nobody else posts will have a look.

    update -- that clears it up.

    I dare say that there was some help and communication between both sets of engineers, after all I'm sure the MNLPS would wish West coast every success , despite " Problems" some years ago,

    I think you will find that all loco owners will talk to each other about issues they may have. It’s in their interests to do so.

    Since the reporting code is 0Z then it's a loco only, ie light engine, loco and support coach would be 5Z as once there is a coach attached it's no longer a light engine but empty stock.

    5M51 Carnforth-Hellifield-Carnforth was activated in the early hours of this morning. It was activated 5 mins after 5Z44 (the loco and support to Hellifield for today’s Dalesman). ????
