Yes, the train header states "light locomotive". There's no reason why a steam loco cannot run light engine. ( But a PO brake is very useful for tools and tea making facilities, but would then be class 5 - empty coaching stock.)
The train load comes from the schedule which was copied/amended to give a trailing load of 715 tonnes.

    Schedule Information
    • STP schedule UID U55361, identity 0K44
    • Runs TWO between 28/08/2018 to 29/08/2018
    • Service code 21708001
    • Light Locomotive
    Operational Information
    • Schedule from ITPS
    • Timed for 60mph max
    • Diesel locomotive, trailing load 715 tonnes
    Cheers, Neil

Bet they’ll clean her in time for the Steam in Green weekend. Will be outshone by the immaculate 34081 if they don’t. Could also have a problem with the Trades Description Act, as she doesn’t look vey green!

York Holgate to Carnforth LE move today at 1837. I wonder if it will be both Leander and BIL.

The timings on RTT have been there every Thursday this summer. Not always used. I would think that the two locos would come back after the weekend

looks to be steam from the injector on 35018 so its in steam, and 45690 seems to be doing all the work
