Ian Riley has posted elsewhere that the return north on Tuesday ( from Southall) is via the WCML.
Problem apparently is the closure for engineering works all this week of the Shrewsbury -Crewe line.

So this, presumably, is the onward leg on Tuesday

So what will be heading south to work the RTC Three Bridges-Bath special this coming Saturday? Will 34067 be fully fit or will 45407 come back for a further visit? It will be interesting to find out.

It won't be interesting if it turns out to be a Cl47.

I'm gutted that 45407 has gone back. I was really hoping it would work next Tuesday's Eastbourne trip. We get very little main line steam in this part of the world. If 34067 turns up at the last minute, I'll be pretty pleased, but I'm not holding my breath

Does that mean that 44871 is now an ORR approved engine? The ban is still in force

Well the first Carnforth casualty is 46115 as Steam Dreams is now expecting Galatea on their Carlisle Appleby trip.

My money would be on a permutation of Black 5(s) and diesel. Any news on whether 46233 is legal? Not for taking this train but as an indicator of whether non WCR locos in general may be compliant.

Any reason why you would say that non WCR locos may not be compliant? Obviously Tyseley locos are so why would you think that 46233 and for that matter Leander, might not be?

Seems to have been a bit up and down - late at Watford, early at Rugby and then looks like it was held to let a late running LM service get through. Working suprisingly hard as she came through Lichfield fast.
