I heard a suggestion this evening that 46100 may be on the front for her Kidderminster - Crewe trip, as the next part of the test programme, hauling her support coach and the WCRC DL. That sounds like rather a good idea to me, but we shall see.

It appears that Tangmere is still not fit, and that a Riley Black Five will be heading south on Wednesday 25 Nov to head the Poole-Bristol train on Thursday. More anon

Could be a trio soon - 45212 not far off a return to service, so I have read on one of the threads here.

A WCRC diesel dep Carnforth 0625 Wed as booked to Kidderminster.

So it looks as if 6100 may move from there to Crewe later.

Ian Riley has reported on The Works that 45407 left Crewe on time this morning, on her way to Bristol via Hereford.

Royal Scot also left the SVR as planned, and was seen in steam & working behind the diesel on route to Crewe.

45407 + support coach (no diesel) passed me at Patchway, Bristol running 2 mins early en route to Bristol SPM.

After reading the messages yesterday regarding WCRC, I didn't expect to see a main line steam loco for some while. <BJ>

Good morning, please can someone kindly put up a link to RTT for 45407 LE movement today from Swanage to Bristol Temple Meads. I think she is leaving Swanage at lunchtime today.

Thank you for that, do you have a link to RTT, the one on Uksteam isn't working for me.

Sorry, just reread your reply saying not on RTT.

Believe it started off right time, but got as far as Pondarosa Crossing where it was stationary for some time before returning to Swanage.

Based on the RTC tours annouced for 2016 upto mid September, 46100 will operating in the North West until the end of July then the South West. I wonder how many of the tours that it is listed for, it has actually been booked?
