Its the light, this time of year its too harsh plus the cloud hove into view at just the wrong moment and was basically obscuring the sun, 5 minutes earlier and it would've been full glinty!

And thanks for the compliment. :)

I've just noticed, I got rod(s) down!! :)

Is that what you call it............... getting a free ride, taking video, eating ice cream, drinking tea/coffee and occasionally having to interact with passengers!

Lucky Bugger, a free trip behind an A4.:(

I nearly missed it, I was having a kip on one of the very nice sheltered comfy benches there.

Finding somewhere to buy ice cream on a Sunday in Holyhead, you must be joking..... Taking video, not on this trip, camera is out on other duties...... Doing the rounds collecting rubbish, and at Holyhead emptying the waste bins in the toilets, clearing any blockages, mopping up 'spillages', o_O. yeah right...... A couple of times I may even have to go into the support coach, beg a cup of tea and slice of home made sponge cake and have a chat. It's a hard life...:)

I would just like for them to be able get the Duchess out of Butterley. I would imagine that there is some frustration going on there with Sutherland still in her shed. I'm glad they have a good string of tours for the Fall but this has got to be tough Especially with The Scarborough Flyer Problem.

It might be a good idea for 6233 to do some of the WCME'S in February. They need that Cashflow.

At least you have something to occupy your time at Holyhead - the paying passengers don't get such luxuries.

And here's me thinking I was the one with the strange sense of humour. Ye gods man, they should be paying Ralph (or anybody) to go to Holyhead.:(

There's not much point in 6233 coming to Crewe if there is no work for her, with the Flyers being cancelled and the gauging problem on the Huddersfield line, and FBU strikes curtailing other tours. :(. Winter CMEs are a bit away, and they usually have a break for routine maintenance over the winter.
