Possibly 45407 returning to Carnforth from Bristol although the first stop for water is at Crewe? <BJ>

Which reinforces the point made some time ago, RTT is not gospel.

Yes this would be 45407 returning to Carnforth as it is a WCR operation and Ray said yesterday she would be returning today.

When a freight breaks down blocking the line in front of the service, NOTHING is gospel.

And before any clever clogs hits me with the inevitable "thought you said you can't be bothered to chase Tornado" the answer is I didn't chase it, It almost literally passed my doorstep, so It would have been churlish to ignore it, nest-ce pas?

It wasn't visible at 11 this morning but that's not to say it didn't come out later or was otherwise out of sight.

Class 56 and Tornado approaching Corfe Castle this evening (About 15 mins early here). Warning for anyone going to the gala weekend the cows in this field were annoyingly inquisitive tonight, had to retreat off the footpath at the foot crossing into the NT car park land behind the fence to avoid/stop them trying to eat my camera bag.

    a. I was thinking that the 45407 could do the Fellsman run but I guess that can be ruled out now.
    b. Wouldn't it be wise for Tangmere to do a test run before she heads back South?

I assume OZ84 Butterley to Carnforth is Olton Hall today and OZ83 is Alycidon moving from Castleton to Butterley through the Calder Valley, also today. Not activated as yet.

WCR has two daily diagrams Monday to Friday One from Carnforth to Southall (5v42) WCR and one vice versa (5m43) If not being used (usually not) they simply get cancelled or revised*

The diagram above has been activated this morning, not in itself significant, but I would be interested to hear if it is Tangers.

*I guess they are in place daily to keep a possible diagram open for the disruptive Southall East Junc down slow, across the up and down fast, and into Southall GL.
