Got a similar email last week, my copy of Issue 383 arrived yesterday, so 10 days after the cover date in Canada despite the lousy weather you've been having of late, so not bad at all by my standards of having to wait.

I see that the latest issue of Steam Railway was on the shelf in my local Tesco today. No sign of my subscription copy through the post today friday. In the past I have always rcvd my copy wednesday or thursday latest on the week of publication.
Perhaps an option to subscribers now would be to issue vouchers so we can collect the magazine ourselves. The delay in receiving a copy by post would appear to be an on going problem with Bauer and their distributor.

    Still waiting for mine.....................

Still getting some things that were first class posted before Christmas - how can Royal Mail expect us to use the postal service if its so inefficient? If its raining, we don't get any post at all, and if its not raining, it might have come by 4pm!

I received a Christmas card last Tuesday or Wednesday posted first class from Birmingham on the 21st of December! Campainr, out of interest regarding your postal service comment, do you actually live in Warwick or out in the sticks?

Congratulations to Steam Railway!!!! issue 385 dated 4 Feb arrived today 2 days before it is in the shops. What a pity issue 384 dated 7 Jan has still not arrived despite this fact being report to subscriber services.

I'm beginning to wonder if this is really the Steam Railway thread or whether in fact it is the Royal Mail complaints section? I've had numerous items not turn up, but thus far Steam Railway has not been amongst them. Iain

Maybe your earlier issue has been added to a pile of so-called "non-urgent" post-Christmas items somewhere! We received a magazine posted early December during the first week of January. Postie said they (RM) had a "mountain" of undelivered items stockpiled in the Midlands whilst they concentrated on the Christmas mail.

It is about time HM Gov't got to grips with Royal Mail. Having said that, the folks at the sharp end do a very good job in my opinion. Its the management that want sorting....(literally!)

The first copy of my new subscription was posted to another member of my family who lives 25 miles away, no idea why it went there?

Did they buy the subscription for you? If not then that's a remarkable coincidence it went to someone you knew.
