I was there on Saturday and had a very difficult time in trying to keep orange jackets out of my photos. They did seem to be everywhere. Hanging out of windows on trains, wandering around platforms and even lineside as well!
Another good effort from the KWVR though.
My photos are now on my fotopic site.

    Cheers,

    Paul

I never put my hi-viz vest on until I reach the platform end when on a station.I did not think it was very busy yesterday line side no problem looking for shots away from a group if there was any.If you look for something different then you can always escape the crowds.I had a look at your shots you did very well some nice shots from the gala.

Really enjoying these photos and videos, yet to spot myself in any of them! Don't suppose anyone captured the Saturday afternoon service with 90733 and 41241?

Also just like to add to my earlier post that I was really impressed that the KWVR offers a 'students discount' to those of us holding a valid NUS card. It's definitely the first line I think i've ever visited that does so, and this was one reason I decided to splash-out a few extra quid on the day rover rather than just a standard return. It'd be nice to see a few other lines thinking about doing this as well.

three great days, despite the weather over the weekend and despite mt camcorda playing up just as cromwell was coming round the corner, major panic , pressed all the buttons etc, and some how managed to get it to record. Also managed to limp on after that and just transfering the footage now, so not lost anything. Few, but I will have to get it fixed quick, will use tmy standby for the next few events. Anyway back to the gala, as usual KWVR guys did an A1 job (or should I say A4 (nope didn't have one of those either)). Photo and film in the pipe line.

Friday was exellent. A little bit disappointed with 70013's express run though, the dub-dee was a bit more entertaining on the nonstop to Damems loop with the local set and the Jinty...
Well done to all at KWVR.

I understand the reason for the extended wait at Haworth with 70013 was for a blow up, but I stand to be corrected.

Now that the weekend is over, i can finally reflect on the gala, and what a little smasher it was, superb guys! Enjoyed every minute of it, well apart from when i slipped down the bank on top of Mytholmes tunnel :(

Anyway, i've finished uploading a couple of clips from each day of the gala the links are available below. The DVD is also complete and lasts 63 minutes with a trailer available below.

Got the impression that the fireman was having a little trouble!!! I'd imagine the pull out of keighley would have ripped the fire apart.
