I just noticed that 30587 has been added to the list of visitors. Great news!

The working timetables are now online, and there's lots of variety. Should be a good weekend.

Not going to this event, but a poor roster on the Saturday with one of the guests, 71515, not doing anything before 2pm, with the first forwards run at 4pm. Dunno why railways do things like that.

In all fairness it is booked to run well into the evening (not back at Haworth till 2050), with two solo runs, so plenty of opportunities to travel/see on the day.

Eight different locos running on the Saturday, so not surprising that 71515 has to wait its turn. Also, 71515 gets out early on the Friday and the Sunday.

Personally I'm looking forward to it.

In fairness, they have sold it as one of the attractions, 71515 running the evening services seems a good idea to me; it's not like it's the only thing it's doing all weekend.

Also, they're varying the roster so that it's different on each day.

I heard that there was an issue with Mech Navvies and that it did't run today?

Good day out today. Lovely to see the well tank in the Worth Valley, and also nice to see lots of locos that don't normally run on passenger trains. The trains were well filled, too, so I hope the KWVR have done well out of the event.

Nice to see Damens station crossing. Brings back many happy memories as Nan lived on the estate above (notably watching Santa specials in the Eighties, Big Jim and D226 in the snow). And one less so involving the railbus and the low platform and me falling between the two (before they thought of providing a step). I must have been about 5.

A little taster from today, visiting engine 0-6-0ST No.71515 is seen making a racket passing Damems Junction with the 8pm express service from Keighley.

Nice video .... stirring performance by the Austerity.

Shame about the crowd in the first coach. I stopped going to Diesel Galas because of people like them.

Interesting to see the video of Mech Navvies storming past Damens in typical austerity style. The KWVR got rid of 68077 because they didn't think it was up to the job, this proves otherwise.

    Is 68077 loaned or sold?
