...and, for that matter, what will running on Tuesday?
I am informed that the service until 1.1.19 will be handled by the USA and the BR(W) Pannier Tank.
I gather a coach was moved from the K&ESR to Woburn Abbey in the week before Christmas. Does anyone have any info on this please? Presumably it was going for an event rather than a permanent move?
If that is what I think it was, I'm not sure we're allowed to comment yet!
You've just sent the speculation meter off scale.
I’ll just leave these here...
I love the luxury of those Maunsells.
I helped to creosote that boarding, in the winter, and still use the hat with the creosote on it
Derailment on the Kent & East Sussex Railway - Loco 32678 ‘sinking into marsh and may have to be abandoned’.
But don’t worry - that was in 1949 ! 70 years later, 32678 is happily in service on the K&ESR and you can ride behind her this week from Tenterden in Kent.
The other angle
32670 will be leaving the K&ESR this morning by road to Norfolk for the start of its overhaul. It is expected to pass through Tenterden High Street mid-morning.
Some photos of it on its way would be useful.
Graham Hukins from the Terrier Trust will be posting later to publicly launch the restoration appeal announced to staff and members at the staff/volunteers evening a short time ago.

Update: now expected to leave Wittersham Road Station about 15:00, Tenterden around 15:30 and be on the M25 for rush hour...
The project turns its first corner...

Is that Aries in the background? How's it doing?
(2) I would rather answer that question after the K&ESR Board meeting on 27 April...
Phil Edward’s splendid shot of Bodiam taking an unusual route through Tenterden yesterday with St Mildred’s church in the background. Did anyone else capture shots of her on the way to Norfolk?
Love the bells of St Michaels - they play tunes every 3 hours Very peaceful and nostalgic.
Is that another Pullman behind the Terrier?
It's Aries. See questions above.
