    Reminds me of how the RAF's Victor tankers ended up looking more like they'd been plastered than painted. I heard it said that when Andre Tempest's Victor at Elvington was repainted a few years ago, they stripped three and a half tons of paint off it, from the desert camo, back through multiple coats of green-and-grey camo, to the original nuclear anti-flash white...
