    Some lovely memories of sitting in the power car of those units when I was young. Climbing up to Sevenoaks tunnel after I'd had a few hours watching the last of the SE Division steam at Tonbridge. :)

    That wonderful smell as you got into the tunnel with a window still open.

    And then a repeat performance as the unit thrashed up to and through Pole Hill tunnel.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Its a (private) staff retirement charter, so not advertised anywhere. My journey home from work just happens to coincide with the reversal at East Croydon!
