GWR 813 Failure

I for one aren't that keen on crowd funder. I sent some money direct.

 

I had trouble with the site too. Eventually it did go to the correct payment page but it took a long time to think about it.

 

It’s an odd one. Lovely little loco, I’d personally like to see it reverted back to its original Hudswell Clarke form but then you’d use what makes it unique I guess. It does perhaps need more publicity, aside from this formum I’ve seen no reminder on social media. Maybe a renewed appeal and get sites like RailAdvent to push it?

 

I wonder how much the profile of 813 has suffered from the removal of the sales stall from Kidderminster Station to the van at Bewdley? I've got to say I've sadly spent less with them than I used to.

 

I believe it has, from what I’ve been told it was another reason why quite a few were happy to see the back of the previous GM.
