Great Eastern Traction is an organisation based at Hardingham on the Mid Norfolk Railway. I'm interested to know if this is a preservation group, and therefore if their collection of diesel shunters can be regarded as preserved?

Their web site says "We restore and sometimes hire or sell such locomotives", and lists various locos with their current whereabouts which include both industrial and preservation locations.

My instinct is that their collection is not, strictly speaking, preserved, but that they are diesel shunter enthusiasts and are not just doing this work for profit.

    Any thoughts/insights?
