I see from the GCR web site that the Fairburn tank loco will not be available after all, and will be replaced by the 8F. Am I right that locos A, B, C and D on the timetable are steam and locos X Y and Z are the diesels? I see there are a few unbalanced workings - locos finish one trip at Loughborough then next appear on the local from Rothley, or vice versa. I know that the published TT is passenger workings only, which is fine. Just wondered if the balancing workings will be light-engines or something like a goods or a parcels train?

A-D are indeed steam, X-Z are Diesel. As for balancing workings, they are likely to be goods, freight, parcels and probably light locomotive as well, it all depends on what set is where and stuff, it's unlikely to be light locomotive (except in the early morning and late evening).

Going to event shame 42085 couldn't make it. 48305 will be good instead.
