The Foxfield Railway can confirm that all planned aspects of the summer gala are taking place as planned. We are looking forward to a great weekend and especially to the visiting loco courtesy of our friends at Lakeside.
The timetable is now available on the gala page, looking forward to this but unfortunately the weather doesn't look promising.

My version of events at this years gala!
Had a great time at Foxfield yesterday. Thank you to everyone for making it such a enjoyable day, especially the TTI on the MK1s. His tale about the man who composed the Hokey Cokey had the whole coach laughing
Was there an issue with 4104 ‘Dubs’ on Sunday? It didn’t do any runs up the bank until about 3pm, and then banking 1827. It was kept busy at the Colliery though
Can anyone identify the loco on the left of this picture please? I’m presuming the one in the middle is W G Bagnall 2221 Lewisham and the one on the right is W G Bagnall 2 Florence. Is that right?

The Foxfield Railway annual Summer Steam Gala featuring visiting engine Andrew Barclay No.1245 'Carron', footage is featured from Saturday 20th July including an early morning 3P20 photo charter.

That black & white shot I think is stunning. Is it taken from a drone or have you found somewhere that looks down on the climb out of the colliery?
Correct re-Lewisham & Florence , the other is Avonside 1563
Thanks very much for confirming this Jon
