Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends...

This years Gala will be a good one featuring the return of Whiston & ( I hope ) Dubsy. I have a visitor in mind but it will be a few weeks yet before I can say more.

Happy new year to you all.

Crikey, you're quick off the mark this year!

Happy new year and here's to another cracking Foxfield gala no doubt!

I think that its one of a number "on the list". We can only cover one per year if the event is to make a small return for all the hard work that goes in.

If the past few years are anything to go by we end up changing horses many times before the die is cast !.

I haven't been to a Foxfield gala for a long time. I think a visit this summer is over-due.

Can I make my mind up when I find out what our respective visitors are! My bar bill at this end when your lot came up was painful enough and I'm sure your profits were well up after the amount we guzzled.

I think your local pub made a LOT of money that night mate!!! Off all of us!!!! I spent a fair amount buying drinks even though I was on anti-biotics and drinking coke!!!! I'm looking forward to BOTH galas this year.

Having seen how your gala has grown and improved last year, and what a fantastic show you put on, I think we (Foxfield) need to raise our game a little to stay ahead!!! ...but I'm sure we will rise to the challenge!!!! Glenalmond... battle plan????

    Its formative !.

You know what I want, what I really really want ( but cant say !! ).

+ Dubs shunting & lifting at Foxfield and running on the bank, if I get more help !. Dumb Buffers now dead & removed, brake cylinder mounted & ready for drilling with the strong back on Sunday. Little end castings order placed - Tubes next, not bad for the new year. Dumb owners with refit dumb buffers when you get the oak cut.

Well, I guess if we're going to have it for the gala, you're going to have to keep the pressure on.

I know the order has been passed on for the oak, so that should be in-op!!!

Well I think I know what you want for your gala (hopes its nothing from Bristol at the very least though) but we've got a battle plan worked out too!

I noted two large oak buffer beams for "Firefly" the other day - could it be that we have a visitor sneaking in to Caverswall in kit form ?!.

The £1 Avonside ( you were done ) is now less a front tube plate following the addition of new members to the group. Perhaps we should move it forwards into view for Gala ?.

We hope to open the bank to passengers over the May B/H weekend, clearly lots to do before then. I think that in the future we will will have a "Traditional Gala" and then some months away a passenger gala. Its true to say that we are in the melting pot at the moment - thoughts welcome !.

I have the answer to the passenger trains question - no.

Its looking like September for passengers on the bank. I think that there is scope for a second event - passenger based at this time.

I think a seperet event would be better as most people come to see the goods going up the bank and you would be in danger of down grade the event.
