    Just to let you know of the forthcoming events at the Apedale Valley Light Railway

    August 30 is Steam Trains & Classic Cars Day

    September 12 & 13 is our September Steam-up. We’ll have three locos in steam – Stanhope, HC1238 and a visitor from Toddington – the Jung loco Justine. We are very grateful to the North Gloucestershire Railway for allowing this visit. We’ll be opening the sheds for visitors, running demonstration freight trains on the field railway and the popular drive-a-loco feature will make a return. Photo attached of Justine.

    Finally, we will be running our military trains collection for Remembrance weekend on 7 & 8 November. The reproduction WW1 trench will also be open for visits.
