    Hi does anyone know the BS Paint code of the Red colour that is currently carried by Taliesin and also
    [ I think its the same ] David LLoyd George.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Possibly an email direct to the workshop at Boston lodge might be quicker. The 'old' BS381c series, which I use extensively for prewar work are available from several sources, but I use Smith & Allan from whom I buy it matched in Tractol synthetic enamel which gives excellent results. Way back it would have been lead based but that route is now only open under certain strict compliances.

    Afraid there is no paint code for locos. We mix the colour ourselves and send a sample off for colour matching.
