    Ta for the update - any ideas when they will be getting Tangmere down light engine from Bristol ? she seems to be doing a lot of mileage light engine as well as with a train at moment - I assume Tuesday uring the day? ta DH

    Thanks buseng - the times quoted on uksteam were for the move from Crewe to Bristol - if she is to be used on the DCE next Tuesday then she will have to move from Bristol after the Weymouth Seaside job on Sunday - DH

    Just booked on the 30th August run. I wonder what the loco's will be for that run.

    60019 on time and running very well. 62.5 mph at mp31 from a standing start at Woking!

    As I said elsewhere, the loco crews must be feeling it, not far off 30 degrees again & muggy.

    Very warm but on time through Branksome, only the one tender this week. No box behind either, so should be steam back again this evening.

    Much to my pleasant surprise managed to finish a work committment in time to get out to see her accelerating hard through Meyrick Park (between Bournemouth and Branksome) this lunchtime sounding very nice DH

    Tangmere over top of Parkstone Bank at 1724 going like a good un - nice to have her back Ralph!!
    Steam to spare as soon as she was eased at the top of the bank DH

    Tangmere in charges of today's down DCE - 1304 at top of Parkstone Bank running easily - a few minutes down today DH

    60019 (leading) and 34067 (banking) departed Weymouth on time this afternoon.

    4492 aka 60019 over top of Parkstone Bank at 1728 in great style with 10 on - safety valves lifted as soon as was eased for Branksome slack DH
