    Surprised no-one has mentioned this one....

    All the surviving Deltics in the land will be on display at Shildon this coming weekend. I think its the first time that all production Deltics and the Pioneer DP1 have been together. Certain will be quite something. Ive got some pictures of the engines arriving tonight, in the wild wind and rain.

    Shame its on the same time as the Great Central do otherwise I would be there .Bring them all down to Finsbury Park for us southern folk to see

    Good event - nice to see some fine looking locos all together and to even get the chance to view the cabs.

    Was there footplate experiences being offered or was that just people talking nonsence?
