Actually, I think there's quite a few at the NYMR who would like to see 75014 back - perhaps Peter could swap it for "Omaha"?

I’m not bothered about having 75014 back but would definitely welcome 2253.

Strange they aren't running a bit more this week with it being Easter Holidays in England, and not due to run on the May Day Bank Holiday Sunday or Monday.

Just so. They get a lot of business through pre booked tours that combine coach, boat and rail. Much of that in the season is on weekdays as not many holiday makers do much across 'changeover' weekends.

Bank Holiday Weekend is not a 'cross over' weekend.

Remember it is only day trips and self catering allowed at the moment so the "legal" leisure market is considerably reduced at the moment until May 17 at the earliest.

My understanding is that it is self contained accommodation? So campsites are ok? Surely there's enough business, as people have to book those over hotels, to cover a few extra days.

Gutted cause I work Mon-Fri and Saturdays generally watching sport so I can't get down there.

Yes you are correct and whilst Swanage is busier no where near what I expected or what it would normally be. Did see a few camper vans around this evening.

Staying in Goodrington from 5th July for 10 days, looking to travel at least one day and I would like to do a bit of filming along the line as well. Does anyone know which way the locos face and is there anywhere that lists whats expected to run? Tried Twitter & webpage both only seems to give general visitor information! Any help much appreciated!

A friend sent me some pics of his visit the day the Black 5 went there. S160 and 5526 in use both facing Kingswear.
No idea how long they get rostered for though.

I would suggest asking them with the contact us on the website. I used it to enquire which days Kingswear Castle was operating last year.
