I do hope someone is able to get out and safely capture this for us. I'm stuck in Tier 3 and don't want to be responsible for spreading anything nor can I take the risk of catching something.

    Take care - Chris

Bessygill. No heavy rain to speak of in north east Cumbria today. Nothing more than light persistent drizzle.

Horrendous conditions today in Cumbria as No. 45562 'Alberta' works north over the River Ribble at Helwith Bridge with the 'Pendle Dalesman' with Mick
Rawling driving, Chris Holmes/Steve Clark on the shovel and Roly Parker Guard.

    Pendle 2b.jpg

With no let up in the downpour, 'Alberta' works the return 'Pendle Dalesman' away from Tebay with Mick Rawling driving, Chris Holmes firing and Roly
    Parker Guard
