Serious accident on the Döllnitzbahn this evening, where IK Nr. 54 has collided with a tractor and trailer at a level crossing . Gala cancelled tomorrow understandably, decision on Sunday's events to be announced. Both loco crew injured and minor injuries to some passengers.

On another thread some people were saying how drivers on the Continent were better than their UK equivalent. Doesn’t look like it from where I’m sitting.

Tractor drivers worldwide are a law unto themselves.

Loco driver seriously injured and fireman hurt as well. Very sad.

Not good at all. If I recall correctly this railway has struggled at times in recent years, so I'm sure they could do with some better luck. Hope the crew make a full recovery.
