Quirk or Curiosity? Czech 'Tater Roaster'

I found this on Youtube a while ago and thought you would all like a viewing of a real 'tied together with string' home-made steam loco. It is somewhere in the Czech republic.

    Enjoy!!

Wonderful stuff, big boys train set! Modelling 100 cm to 1 metre (Euro equivalent of modelling 12 inch to 1 foot). Are we to expect it at Porthmadog in the near future, or do we have to organise an overseas last steam of the world tour?
I hope the guys are enjoying themselves.

I think the ORR might have something to say about that.

scrapheap challenge meets Heath Robinson! Fair play to them it seems to work, but I can't imagine it being allowed anywhere near the public in the UK!
