Looks like it's due to avoid Carlisle again, 11.22 Carnforth to Appleby and 15.42 Appleby to Farington Jn. Presumably due to all the engineering work affecting trains in and out of Carlisle on that day.

I see that the Euston to Carnforth and Farington to Euston is not West Coast operated again this week end.

Just spotted that Scots Guardsman has run from Carnforth North Junction to Tebay in 30 minutes today. That's the kind of running time you would expect and if anyone still has doubts about Galatea's poor performance last weekend, compare that time with the 42 minutes she took.

Further to the above, Carnforth North Junction to Penrith in 48 minutes also suggests a good climb of Shap. It matches a run I've had previously on SG with 12 up so today's performance with 11 simply illustrates that when you match the load with the loco there is no problem.

Would be interesting to see how Galatea would fare with 9. Mind you at today's higher speed SG also had the advantage of reduced drag (heads in, drop lights closed!?)

Excellent performance, seven late at Tebay, only one down at Penrith. TPE was 5 late again, but didn't hold him up this time - must have been some problem at Carnforth as he was 14 late leaving.

That's 10 minutes quicker than 46115 managed with this year's 14th and 21st March WCMEs with load 12.

My best from Carnforth North Junc to Upperby Bridge is under 62 min (with 12) so 65 today with 11 is not bad, as said by others.

Anyone got speeds at Grayrigg and Shap Summits today? I don't have any contacts on board.

Excellent filming as always, and good to see some different locations. 46115 looked and sounded superb on Grayrigg.

Thanks for the kind comment , I thought the Scot might be drowned out with the strong wind at Grayrigg but 46115 sounded fantastic.
