I have just had a look on UKSteam Info to double check the timings for this and sure enough, nothing has changed, however, the locomotive showing is 6201 not 6233. I am not particularly affected by the possible change of locomotives as I have seen several impressive performances from both. Has the locomotive really changed or is it a mistake on UkSteam? Thanks in advance.

Stunning video, thank you. I was on the train today and really enjoyed watching the brilliant performance by The Duchess . A great trip, even the weather was better than expected.

Brilliant Stephen, really captures the day.
The loco was turned out immaculately as always, the support crew really on top of the job for the whole day, both firemen (whose names unfortunately I cannot recall) providing Albert and Bill with the means to do their jobs and give us a great day.
I believe Shap was crested at 40mph even after 2 slips lower down. Any chance of a special run from Appleby was out as there were a couple of slacks but on Mallerstang where the gradient steepens to 1:100 Bill opened here up that last bit and we actually picked up speed and were over the top at 47mph.

Thanks Ralph, she was flying towards the summit at Aisgill and what a sound she made and you could hear her for ages before she came round the elbow. Steve
