    Lovely images...and what a pleasant change to see a LMS loco under power and without steam leaking out from all around the valve gear and the injectors. Time well spent on winter maintenance it would seem.

    Climbing away from Tebay at Greenholme.

    Accelerating away from the restriction at Culgaith. The only shot of steam out of 6 that was in full sun!

    Barely a cloud in the sky and one bubbles up from nowhere just as 46233 rounds the curve at Wilpshire!

    650 miles covered yesterday, left home at 4.30am and got home at 10.30pm. Not the most successful day out!

    Agreed, I met a certain lad from Surrey who only got 1 shot at Angerholme and a cloud won again
